Q2. My house is being built now, what can I do to make sure I can get solar?
Rest easy, we can make a quality system work using the space available. Although, it would be wise to set aside some space for around 16 to 18 panels on the north facing side of your roof, because this is where they receive the most sunlight. Panel sizes vary but common sizes now available are 1.8m x 1.1m, so just over 35m2 for 18 panels.
